About LinkBacksThis post is just to ask you guys, Do We need more Forum Categories ? Does the present forum categories miss something or miss many things? or does the forum categories cover everything

Ah thank you, postreply working againI was thinking prior about a category where we could discuss our hardware setups like computers, monitors, graphics cards, OS, etc... like a Hardware Discussion basically.
I think another would be Hints and Tips that would cover workarounds and other things for computer users. Just my 2 cents

I would be working out some new categories sooner or later.
May be I learned something new today about administering the forum not to make a post as global announcement if i need members to contribute in that. :P

I am going to create Three New forum categories :
Hardware Discussion
Software Discussions
Tips and Tricks
Any more suggestions? Do we need a separate one for Linux?

Avinash ,what about sub-forums under the above mentioned ?
Like Paul suggested, Windows installation and other stuff.
For eg: under Software: Subforums could be Windows, Antivirus, System tweaking tools,etc

It seems I am stuck now. The forum database got some problems perhaps and I can not create new forums.
May be I need to do some upgrades or correct the database. I will try to see what can be done but it may result in some forum downtime.
UPDATE :
I tried something with database and the forum went down. I am putting this on hold till i can clear the problem.

Actually the last time i visited your site it was not updated, but now i see new topics here.
UPDATE:
Avinash, i have seen other forums actually post direct links to freebies that give a license key. May i suggest that we try it here.
I think your readers would appreciate it if you point out useful softwares for them. You could try it just for freebies and not for personal advertising. Maybe this would help the forum grow.
