Best free browser for anonymous surfing

    Xerobank browser:

A modified version of firefox with pre-installed add-ons like noscript, etc.
Uses the Tor network to redirect you to a different sever, changes your IP so you can surf safely.

    Code:
    http://update.xerobank.com/distro/XeroBank/XeroBank_Installer.exe
    Opera Tor:

Tor network with the power of the Opera browser

    Code:
    http://files.myopera.com/archetwist/operator/OperaTor-3.5.zip

    Vidalia
    :

    Another Tor powered browser
    Code:
    http://www.torproject.org/dist/vidalia-bundles/vidalia-bundle-0.2.1.24-0.2.7.exe

I have used it once. Its much better that conventional ones.
But the problem is since i was not sure whether the data i send over it is secure enough. I wasn't a don in coding so that i can reverse engineer it, and my friends who can do that haven't cared to do that.

So i switched back from it.

Xerobank browser is quite good. Although i use it rarely, FF, Opera and IE are secure nowadays.
It is primarily for users who feel insecure about their privacy and want to surf anonymously.

IE 8 is secure, Microsoft acknowledge it, it is IE 5,6 and 7 that have vulnerabilities.
Make sure you have enabled "protected mode" enabled if you use these versions.
