What about the files between KIS 2011 and KIS 2012? Are not they supposed to overlap each other?
In any case, I choose to remove KIS 2011 first. My subscription data is still recorded automatically. The result is former issue like persisting Application Monitor after being disabled is gone. Kaspersky URL Advisor button can stand alone next to Firefox search bar (previously it needed to be placed alongside Kaspersky virtual Keyboard). I am able to see Anti-SPAM module integration into Thunderbird too. But skinning feature seems to be supported no more. I don't find the option for hiding message on security status either.

So if KIS 2012 is lighter it is really nice to hear. I have to try this new version. Mayby at last Kaspersky is going to the right direction.
Certainly ver 2012 is lighter on resource than 2011. If you are using 2011 i'll definitely recommend you to move to 2012. Its better.
Mike: Is KIS 2012 faster and better than 2011? I have tried 2011 but afterwards I changed back to 2010 instead as it permits me to disable the software at fixed time intervals.
Mike:It's delighted to hear that 2012 is faster and better. I will try it later after the expiry of my Avira Premium by end of this month.

I'm glad you have a life, just glad it's not mine.
Mike: I would like to try KIS 2012 but my preferred language version (Traditional Chinese) is not available now and have to wait a little bit longer.
