Ashwin have you tested Shadow Defender and Returnil?Returnil is a overall-kill with their anti-virus.Shadow Defender looks promising though.

Neither SD nor Returnil are free softwares, although i did get Returnil for free at Wilders security, although i havent installed it yet. Too lazy

BTW you may want to try GesWall, similar to Sandboxie and free

Sandboxie has a free version. Download it, just about 1.5 mb. Tiny file, incredible protection.
There is an option to buy the pro version if you want. Their website does not mention a free version, but this will:

Geswall too has a free version, 30 day trial for pro available. Once the trial period ends, it reverts to the free version.
