Windows 8 is supposedly ARM-based as opposed to the traditional x64. And supposedly there will be an "app-store". I hope they aren't going in the direction of Apple. If something happens where you can only use software etc. from an app store I will be really upset. It's still kinda-early to make such speculations and I am sure a lot of info out there is rumor. But some of the things I have read thus far disturb me quite a bit. I cannot see that approach too plausible though, I simply cannot see power users and businesses wanting to upgrade if that is the case. I know I won't.
