What is a GOOD alternative for VDownloader?

It will be better to use separate softwares to do separate things. I suggest you to use flashgot plugin for firefox to download videos. To convert that video you can use Iwisoft or Formatfactory...

Found an interesting software, FreeMake Video Downloader

FreeMake Video Downloader seems to be a nifty software. It can download from many sites, including several adult video sites. But it requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile prior to running.
Another good software for downloading online video is Foxreal YouTube Downloader which is available as free and paid. Not only Foxreal can download p**n http://www.avinashtech.net/images/smilies/;-%29.png but also convert local videos to many formats. Its site get Red Rating from WoT, though.
