waiting for feedback...:boom:
Well.. i tested Anvir TM a while back.. kept it on my machine, but noticed that I never really used it.. I was using Chameleon Manager at the time and was liking it better. with CM, it had a delay bar so you could see the programs in order of when they will boot and so on.. Anvir i noticed it just brought up a menu (basically like the windows service) and you had to set teh delay there and what not..
Well, recently i installed Winpatrol Plus and have been using that ..i uninstalled CM and noticed that program left a bit of a mess.. soem of the startups are now labled (added by Chamelion Manager) or somethin like that.. and if i disable one with that tag, it disabled them all..
So.. be nice to hear some more feedback on it as well.. but as of right now.. stickign with Winpatrol Plus
Anvir I think had a good Task Manager looking GUI, but if you have Win7.. you have one quite similar as well... so defeated the need of the product for that aspect as well.. and since i have process lasso.. i see them all anyway ;)
thanks Zug why not post a review on Winpatrol Plus :)

maybe i will once i get more acquainted with it :) never really done "reviews" so would be a first ;) but atm.. no time and getting ready for my R&R.. so just has to go on the back burner for now ;)
I use WinPatrol Plus as well beside AnVir Task Manager and Process Lasso. I found that WinPatrol has better taste in organizing startup list while AnVir Task Manager is rather untidy. AnVir Task Manager enlists Windows services, that comes as bundle from within an installed program, altogether with the executable file needed to run the program. Most of us do not expect to see this because our startup list is going to be seen bloated by .dll files. Even native Windows Task Manager would split them.
Moreover, AnVir Task Manager and WinPatrol do not seem to get along very well since any startup entry handled by either one of both does not appear to each other. If I handle one with AnVir Task Manager, then I will not have it enlisted in WinPatrol. Or vice versa. So, to avoid any confusions, I suggest it had better to choose just one of both in dealing with startup detection.
J would love a copy of Anvir Task Manager it sounds much easier than the Vista task manager never have been quite able to fully understand it it sound to me as if Anvir simplifies the job very well thank you for the chance. And have a great Birthday.
hi avinash
anvir is one of the my favorite softwares.other one's are pop peer, jdownloader and hwmonitor. tough i use free version of anvir but i would like to have pro version to see security levels of programs.thank you
After reading the features of AnVir Task Manager, I would love to have one.
I don't have a big problem with Win 7's task manager, but it would be nice to try something a bit more thorough.
an alternative with more features than the Windows Task Manager Start
Agree with Corker.. i had Anvir running along with the Chameleon Manager which is prolly why i didnt like the Anvir at the time.. and since i got winpatrol on this machine i am keeping that for now.. but i went in for a license as i am heading home for R&R and would like to try out ANvir on my home PC and then compare them side by side,, that way i dont have to install/uninstall 1 to test it out... this way can see how both work and then make a decision off that :)
Hoping that i'm not too late for this giveaway, i would like a chance to compare it with Winpatrol which i currently use as my startup manager
Hello, this is my first post in the forum
I have one question, I left a comment (using Opera) on the AnVir review and giveaway but I think it wasn't published, It told me I had to wait for the approval but I think I should be able to see my comment with the "waiting for approval" line, ie. I commented, a sign told me to wait but I can't see my comment.
After that I tried with Internet explorer but got the same result.
Maybe the comments don't appear until they get approved, if that's the case excuse me :p
Thanks for the quick reply Avinash.
Now I can see my comments :)
I asked in the first place because I had some problems commenting on 2 other websites.
AnVir Task Manager is not bad to have, though it needs some time to get used to.
I like those additional buttons it make in the upper title of windows and that it has links to Virus Total but it worries me they having collaboration with Uniblue inside the program.
Could been better organized in help the user but can't get everything:fear:
i like it but it eats more ram
Thank you for the key. I have not yet installed the program, but I'll definitely do it soon.

Hi, thanks a lot for the license. I've installed without any problem, and the thing I like most is the detailed information about processes. Again, thank you very much. And... Merry Christmas.
yeah thanks i appreciate winning but after trying it it has right click menu to take you to a registry site i was hoping it had a task scheduler replacement as the one in vista isnt that good and when it was running it took my explorer background away as im using windowblinds im sure i could have excluded it but thanks anyway
Glad to see everyone got the license, very useful program tracking/narrowing down problems and quiet handy with so much accessible info.
Thank you very much for AnVir, now have a great holiday everyone and Merry Merry Xmas.

Got the license for this, thanks Avinash! I really like the security ratings, and having a good way to look at my processes in tandem with my services, it's really helping me get to know what's going on with my computer and giving me some ideas about what i really want to be going on.
Thanks very Much Avinash!
I've received the Happy Message with a key.
