Question Take screenshot of a playing/paused/stop video?

    hi,
As i'm taking online course it happens that there is no time to take the notes and they do not share the slides. In this case the only option is to take the screenshots and save for referring them later.

I did the same for a recorded video, but I keep getting a black screen

Am I doing something wrong and/or is there an alternate way?

    Thanks,
    Grr

most videos can be downloaded using Internet Download Manager

try their 30 day trial version

if that didnt work reply back, we will think about other ways to get that video, if possible share the video link and i will try to download and email it to you

If you got a net connection while you are watching those online courses, you can use screenr to record those Videos. It works and can record Videos from your screen easily.

If you got problems, get back here and we will try something else.

Screener records movie as it is on the screen.

If you just want the screenshots or full course movie? You can try Imagegrabber II. It also got a FF extension.

btw, can you tell the online course movie runs inside your browser or a media player?

Video playback is based on framerate and each video format will have different number of frames, most video capture tools will not be able to capture a "screenshot image" of a video.

Some media players have built in screen capture option. VLC player does that
