Setting up new user account without losing old Admin account

Currently the computer is running Windows XP solely with an administrative account. When I try to set up a new user it hides the administrator account along with everything that is currently on the desktop and all of my settings. How can I add a new account and still keep the administrative account active? (I want the administrator account plus a user, not 2 users).

Well, You can just rename the administrator account and create another new one.

For that you go to Start>>Run and type control userpasswords2.

Then in the windows of user accounts that comes, right click on administrator account and click properties.

    Just rename the administrator account.

Apply and click OK. Then create another account. I hope that will solve the issue.

Update here if you still got problems
