    avibky: I totally agree with Avinash to stick to KAV instead of Avast Internet Security unless you use a better firewall eg. Outpost Firewall Pro, Online Armor Firewall or Comodo Firewall as recommended by Alpha.

    I too agrre with Avi. I love Comodo's Firewall but don't have to much faith in their AV. it doesnt have the greatest reviews for detection and its False positives.. i would recommend keeping either Kav or there are a few others that could be better than Kav,, but since question was what FW with Kav,, id say do the Kav + Comodo, Online Armor, or Outpost... possibly in that order.. unless you can get one of the promo keys for OA that has been going around for OA ++ Premium for 1yr, then id use that over Comodo possibly..

    Avinash: what firewall do you use? You aren't working without firewall and just antivirus alone!

    I do recommend using MBAM/

    I do recommend using MBAM / SAS besides your AntiVirus + Firewall or Internet Security to keep you away from malwares,trojans/ antispywares/hackers/worms etc.

    I thought that you should not use MBAM if you have a good internet security such as KAS so turned MBAM off on my laptop

    @avibky

    Using just Avast isn't going to give you a decent protection,you should also add MBAM in realtime for some reliable protection.

    As for KAV is concerned,I am afraid its detection is not top notch these days so is Avast IS.
    It is Norton which is making all the noises.
    You should definitely turn on MBAM in your lappy,believe me you won't regret it.
    The current version of SUPERAntiSpyware is nothing but a joke,it has always performed bad in all the known tests.
