Im using "SpeedFan" too, not only that it show's the temp in the system tray, but you can also adjust system fans speed, and rename the temperatures as you want i.e. cpu/hdd...
You can choose what temp to show in the tray.. cpu/hdd..
I use it to control the speed of the exhaust fan in the back of the case.
