    Did you ever thought in which group do i fall into ?

    \i can propose a different approach. Tech + geek+ novice combined together.

    I mean use geeky words but define them too in simple words

    I have to say that Microsoft Security Essential is only for basic protection. It isn't powerful at all. And shows bad performance by virus test.

    So it's wise to set up a well known AV just like BD KIS ESET Norton McAfee and ect. They are all worthy of trust
