Yes I find SAS very good. It works well with all major anti virus software and causes no slow down to your system. I even have it on my older HP Compaq D530 ( XP Pro SP3 with 1.0 GB of Ram, 3.20GHz) and no slow down there also. Thats what I like about SAS, you don't even know its there until it stops something from getting in your system. You can even run a full scan and browse online and you still wont know its there running in the background. As with most security software you will get a false positive every now and then, but that happens very rarely, and is fixed during the next update. But that is from my personal experience and results will differ with each computer. And it's cheep! $9.99 for a year when you upgrade from inside the program.
Well.. there is nothing wrong with SAS-pro, i just loved the boot time measuring and some other tools from the "doctor", i'm constantly thinking of putting SAS back on realtime protection.
Im not really paranoid about security because i try to surf safe, im not using /looking for various crack's or pirated software or.. whatever suspicious, so.. i don't think that SAS or no-SAS will make any difference.
I had SAS (i have lifetime license)running realtime for about a year.. and it "didn't make a sound", nothing blocked or passed by it.
