I've had a fairly major change in my security setup this summer.
    My desktop now uses:
Avast Internet Security,Zemana anti logger, spyware blaster with the free editions of Malwarebytes and SuperAnti spyware.
I've found Avast to be particularly good and it's the first inclusive firewall that I have actually continued using.
Of course I also have the usual wot etc add ons in ff.

Good setup Samuel, I say add MBAM Pro and remove SAS in your setup.SAS detection rate has been worsening with each coming day ever since they sold out to Support whereas MB detection rates are better than most AV's out there. The realtime protection in MBAM Pro is very effective in dealing many 0day malwares out there, Trust me you won't regret it

either you guys uses a very slow internet connection or some serious issues with their update servers that time or you guys have been using seriously backdated installers.

I have been using Kaspersky for very long time now and i have installed it quite a few number of times but the first update never took 3.5 hrs for me.
