I just installed going to try it out on my XP

Yup, it took sometime, but at the last step i.e. where it asks us to reboot to finish installation, it stuck and that caused the problem and I had to uninstall it. Anyway, just now activated ASC 4 Pro for 1 year

i had used its earlier versions, without any problem & now also using as a default cleaner.

Answer:
You should try disabling the Antivirus software. This is highly recommended if you have Norton or McAfee. After that you should try running the installation again

Not written anywhere but personal experience.

On 1st install it run the checks, so time consuming. Moreover U cannot skip these checks.
