    How to remove file/folder

How can you remove a file or folder of files with warning message of "cannot delete file" and "cannot read source file or disk"?
Please give in details of the removal steps and any removal tool required if possible!

Which version are you using? Does it install any toolbars/shortcuts?

VT report for the latest version

Current version comes with Bing toolbar and Babylon toolbar.

I read that the previous version contained OpenCandy adware.

If you have Malwarebytes, just open it and click on "More Tools", it has FileAssassin built-in

If you ever try to delete a file that says "You need permission to perform this action" even though you are admin and it still won't let you, you can delete it by doing the following:

Right-Click the File or Folder you wish to delete.
    Click Properties.
    Then click the Security Tab.
Click the Advanced button at the bottom of the security tab page.
Then Click Owner. (It should say your name or Administrator).
Then click "Ok" to take ownership.
Then you can successfully delete or move the file.

Nikhil, Avinash, Ashwin, TheGame: Thanks a lot to you all for your quick response and good advice.
I will try Ashwin method first with FileASSASSIN (recommended by Avinash) as I have MBAM installed on my pc. Hope I can remove it easily!

Finally I have to move all my files to another Hard Drive Partition and have it formatted to get rid of the suspicious file.

I think there're many delete tools today. But the most important thing is that you must know what files can be deleted and what files can't be deleted.

We probably have to reset our system by mistakenly deleting files which are necessary for system.
