    Lightbulb Does Linux Runs on your system?

    How many of you run any Linux Distribution as another Operating System on your computer? If yes, Which distribution?

    Right now, I am running Ubuntu 9.1 on a VMware Environment.

    I have used Ubuntu

    I used Ubuntu 9.04 last year, dumped it for XP, since my PC's Warranty does not support Linux distros.
    Dont wanna void my 3 year warranty :-)

    But i can tell you Ubuntu is excellent, if you know how to use it , i.e
    But there are blogs and forums you can learn from, so give it a try.
    You can preview it without installing.

    I did tried it for few hours. Its just like Fedora but somehow I dumped it and went back to Ubuntu.

    I am using Linux Mint, a derivative version of Ubuntu. It's much easy and very good for home users.

    Yes I have tried that too. Its good specially for novice users.

    since this is an old thread but still open so i thought i will reply to increase my message count.. ;-)
    I am using ubuntu lts 10.04 Lucid Lynx along with my vista which is my primary system

    hmm ubunto 1.04 lts runs fine except it cant connect to my internet. IT runs as fast as xp on 1gb ram that too the live cd

    Tried red hat linux(rhel 5) did not like it. But it runs fine. Cons : cannot connect to my net.
