This is a big download (373 MB) and I never could successfully get it using IDM It stopped at 100%. Appears to be a server communication problem. Had to fire up Explorer and bypass IDM to download it, took almost half an hour
It's the Silver edition, and it looks like you request a license key during the install -- other Magix promos have worked like this -- and the trial only lasts 7 days. Bottom of the promo page says you can register it after the 7 days are up. Haven't tried it myself yet.
CorelDraw, like Adobe Illustrator, is vector based GFX, PhotoShop, Corel PhotoPaint --which used to be included in the Corel Draw suite--, and GIMP (great freeware alternative to Photoshop) are raster based, like pixel painting.Originally Posted by corker

If you need a free vector based program, try Inkscape (don't recall the link) but last time I looked it was considered by many the best freeware vector app
