Lol was amused to hear the "Stock Market" stuff regarding Avs.

Perhaps thats the way Paul is... watching everything so closely and thats why he got great opinions on everything related to security :P

    Oh!!

Looks like the Avira fan doesnt like it anymore. I was using AVG free some years back and felt the asame way before using Avast and then Norton.
And i did read some good reviews about BD, lets pray it is better than NAV.

And BD offers a free edition too.You cant get that on the downloads page, a bit tricky, but i got it.
    Check it out

LOL. Actually I do still like and would recommend Avira but it is wobbling out of it's spot and has been "albeit slowly" declining in it's detection rate and FP detections going up. BitDefender is so very close to Avira in testing but has far less FP's which is a positive. Either way, unless BD becomes as useless as Norton, which I doubt, I will use it as long as it remains a good product.

Congrats to both of you. And thanks to MIke for his generosity.

I would wait for small feedback here or may be in a new thread somewhere else in forum from both of you guys. :P

Sure Avinash i will post a review in the Virus/Trojan/Spyware area

And Congratulations Paul, i hope you have activated the BD Internet security by now.

I already did a deep scan on my 320gigs HDD, guess what more trojans that Norton didnt detect. Removed it like a breeze
I have installed it with Norton, it was a risk but it paid well, runs smoothly. No conflicts whatsoever.

Nuff said here, wait for my review on BD after a couple of days, i need some time to observe the various modes and features

    See ya

Hey if you want to see how BD was reviewed by others, type this "internet security top ten reviews" in google and click the first link.
BD is 3rd after Webroot and Kaspersky. Norton is at 4th though
