    1. What if we forget the password? Can we retrieve it?
    2. I have seen that most of these lock apps can be uninstalled easily via Titanium or just by flashing a ROM.

    So how does this one fare compared to the others?

    well,

    When you allow root access to apps like Titanium, its difficult to stop apps from being uninstalled that way.

    The only way left is to have something which even blocks this including flashing of new ROM.

    Was having a look at Avast Anti-theft feature which looks to do the same with some strong anti-theft solution. Still not sure 100% and will update it here.

    I noticed that Avast uses the Root features for its firewall but the Anti-theft doesn't require root. Yet it seems that you can't uninstall it that easily. Wow, how did they do that?
