    • It is very light on computer resources. I had installed it onto my old system which was so outdated and I didn't feel any drop on overall performance.
    • Not only Antivirus and Firewall, VIPRE also gives us additional tools in accordance to its role as a security application, like File Shredding, Browsing History cleaner, and PC Explorer to see hidden process.
    • A user who does not have live internet connection is able to update VIPRE offline.
    • VIPRE's detection rate is good, although, it does not have database as large as Avira or Emsisoft. That is because as a new product, VIPRE is focused against current potential threats and issues. I tested it once by using a simple script and saved it as virus per name. And the result was VIPRE blocked it while ESET NOD32 passed it.

Vipre doesn't show the good performance by virus test these days. But it has lifetime license.

And it's a pity that F-secure Internet Security hasn't lifetime license anymore.
