Ok i opened the link in my browser and WOT showed me a warning and so did PC Tools Browser Defender

WOT scorecard: No one has commented why they gave it a poor rating

My Norton IS toolbar did not turn red when i opened the site, so i guess it is safe.

I think the site and the tool Digital Patrol is quite safe to use.This license can be used for updates but not upgrade,the license costs separately and is a lifetime one.

Regarding performance,maybe Avinash could help!
