Twitter showing zero followers/following

Most of you know that i am a Twitter-addict, a few minutes back, i was sending some DMs to my friends and clicked on Home to return to my timeline to see what my friends are tweeting.

To my horror, my twitter account showed i was following 0 and i had 0 followers.
I logged out and tried using Flock/Opera/SR Ware Iron browsers.
It all showed the same.

Am i being hacked? Well only one way to confirm?
I visited some of my friend's twitter pages and it all showed the same.
I even called a friend and he confirmed it too.

We are still able to login and tweet, that hasnt been affected

Then i found this on twitter's official account,

"Follow count display is set to 0 and follow/unfollow is temporarily offline while we fix a bug."

and then this

It said, this

"Follow bug discovered, remedied. 9 minutes ago

We identified and resolved a bug that permitted a user to “force” other users to follow them. We’re now working to rollback all abuse of the bug that took place. Follower/following numbers are currently at 0; we’re aware and this too should shortly be resolved ."

Everyone are experiencing the same problem on twitter now. (Including the twitter employees)

I will post an update on this issue as soon as they fix it.

Yes it has been fixed just about a minute before you posted.
They took over one hour to get it fixed.

I just checked my account a few mins ago and everything is normal.

Looks good for me. no issues here.
