Spain vs Switzerland:
An inspired Switzerland side defeated a not-so impressive Spain 1-0 in their WC opener.
Gelson Fernandes managed to scramble the ball into the net as the Spanish defence fumbled with the clearance.
Host nation South Africa were beaten 3-0 by Uruguay, and their goalkeeper was sent off in a controversial manner.
TV replays showed Uruguayan striker Suarez was offside and he seemed to dive inside the penalty area.

Argentina thrash South Korea 4-1 with a splendid hat-trick from Gonzalo Higuain
Argentina took the lead early in the game after a freekick took a deflection from South Korea's Park Chu-young.
Higuain made it 2-0, but Lee Chung-yong struck back during the stoppage time in the 1st half.
But it was all over for the Asian side as they crumbled to a barrage of attacks from Argentina
Greece vs Nigeria:
Greece beat 10 man Nigeria 2-1 after Kaita was sent off in the 1st half. Kalu scored for Nigeria, Salpingidis & Torosidis scored for Greece
