It is not working. The process just showed back in taskmanager
This is beyond my knowledge, I am no expert

I suggest you request for support at the Comodo forum.

As I said in chatbox, Installing comodo on my 64 bit windows 7 resulted in BSOD, so I will try to find the solution using VMware if it works. But that's gonna take some time.

Just browse to Firewall tasks>> advanced>>Network Security Policy >> Application Rules >> Windows updater application. Right click on the rule to edit it. Set Ask for both TCP or UDP and direction in/out. This should do the trick.

If it still doesn't do the trick, I am afraid you need to check your system for malware as the file that you are talking about may be infected.

Isnt this the same thing that I mentioned here ???

PS: If possible download Dr.web cure it portable scanner and run a complete scan, it will remove malwares/viruses.

Its almost same thing with a small addition. I just added "direction" to it.

PS : It looks like you added that too in next reply.

Setting is both TCP+UDP in/out Ask. Still it loads.

Scanned with MBAM, SAS, Hitman - nothing found.

Did not completed the scan for as it was taking a lot of time.

Open Internet explorer and check for windows updates by opening update.microsoft.com

See if you have any high priority updates available.
Maybe a critical update is available for your OS.

BTW which OS/Service pack are you using?
