A so-called zero-day vulnerability within Adobe’s Flash Player gets currently exploited, warns IT-security specialist Avira. An update to fix this is announced for the end of the month – until then, users need protection by anti-malware solutions.

Adobe has confirmed the newly discovered and already actively abused vulnerability within the Flash Player. As there is no update available yet, users can get infected just by browsing the Internet – malicious Flash objects can get embedded by cyber criminals in nearly all web sites, for example by manipulating advertisements
