@clyde: I never used it, but if you look at the comparison table... there is no on demand usage/scanning , so i guess it's just a "malware shield" in the background.

I think you can't use it on demand, like other antivirus software. Normally, on demand scanners has virus definitions to find threats. Where as Mamutu don't have any signatures. The way it finds the threats is by assessing the behavior of a process. Hence, it has to constantly monitor processes and assess their behavior, to finds threats in real-time.
