Then you'll have to wait till they improve win8 compatibility...
The Safe Run feature has been dropped in Kaspersky Internet Security 2013. One of the reason is because there is a chance for malware to infiltrate the patching process and then cause damage against the system. This is a Windows OS-related issue which all sandbox software makers has to get through. If they yet to overcome it, they'd better not release 64-bit version of their program. DefenseWall, for instance, hitherto has not been available in 64-bit version due to this reason. But knowing that it is still there for Kaspersky PURE 2.0, to me it implies that the protection rate of KIS 2013 may be higher than Kaspersky PURE in a certain aspect.
