I downloaded my copy, and during installation it asked for a promotion code.
I used the promo code found on the giveaway page and then clicked on Help>Check for updates from the Auslogics Boostspeed 5 SE interface.

It had an option for "Get free License" , I clicked on it and it took me to a page where I had to enter First and Last name and email-id.

Then I got a license in my email. I entered that code in Auslogics BS through "Help>Check for Updates>I already have an activation code"
