You will find one obstacle a cloud-based Anti Malware scanner has if you are being connected to the internet by a limited bandwidth. The problem occurs when you need to upload the suspicious files onto cloud server where mostly, upload speed is slower than download speed. Imagine if you're PC is invested with plenty of malware while in the mean time, you're using a 56K dial up modem or anything below 384 KB/sec ADSL.
