    Windows 7 Service Pack 1

Anybody here installed the new service pack 1 yet?

In other forums there were lot of complaints about upgrade messing their drivers of USB devices

Took note of that bug, so clean installed Windows SP1

Everything works fine, no issues whatsoever

How did your upgrade go? Any problems?

I am facing one problem...whenever i connect any usb drive to my pc after Sp1 installation. I am not able to remove usb drive though the message appears that "you can safely remove usb drive" but my drive is still shown in my computer and i can still access it after the removal message.

    Off topic, but anyway:

Try this free tool to eject USB drives:

(may not work on Windows 7 )

Upgraded also the same day of release, a little trouble with web shield blocking but after a format and clean install no other problems to report.

Instead of applying the service pack, I wiped the old win 7 install and used the new ISO with integrated service pack to install a fresh OS.

You mean Win 7 with SP1 integrated???? I don't think MS has released anything like that yet.
