    my DNS is 19 % slower then google DNS ....
    49 % faster then UltraDNS and 62% then OpenDNS-2, is this ok . using BSNL 2MBPS Blan .

    Switch to Google DNS , observe the speed , if there isn't any improvement you can always use your ISP's DNS

    Note to all: Some ISPs would have given you their DNS server settings, please note them down if you wanna change back to it.

    I don't really care for DNS Service so I just use what my ISP gives me. I used to test it by using namebench and yes, it was not the fastest nor the best choice but it is sufficient in its accordance to my bandwidth.

    where i have to change these dns setting in my mordem settings or in windows network settings ?

    after shifting to google dns surfing speed improve a bit but my u torrent speed decreased to 162 kbps (max) to shift to default dns and getting download speed 180+
