    Kurai Ad-aware Skin Installer

Hello fellow Avinashtech members. I created a program using Setup Factory 9 that installs a skin for ad-aware without the user having to manually place the files in the proper directories!

This is an installer and will automatically install the skin for you!

    Instructions:

    1) Close Ad-aware
    2) Run Kurai Setup.exe
    3)Open Ad-Aware
4)Go to Settings, and click on the Customize tab. In the Skin drop-down menu, select Kurai.
5)Click OK and then restart Ad-Aware.

If you'd like, create a restore point before installing.

The file has been scanned with NIS 2012, Emsisoft Anti-Malware, Malwarebytes, and SuperAntiSpyware and is virus and Malware-free. (I created it for our members, so the file is completely safe).

Please feel free to do your own scan on the file before installing.

The program also has a built in uninstaller if you wish to uninstall the skin.

Please give it a try and leave feedback. I am very excited about this program and appreciate your support.

The program is of course free and no license is required.

I've created 2 more installers for Ad-aware skins. Simply follow the installation instructions in the README file included in the .zip file. Enjoy!

    Hi Jeremy,

I installed all the three skins and tested them, works fine
I like the Kurai skin better than the other two

    Couple of minor issues:

    1. The default location is shown as C:Program Files (x86)\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware\Resources

By default it should be C:Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware\Resources.

    2. Uninstalling 1 skin removed all three custom skins

    Screenshots:

    Default skin:

    Kurai skin:

    Kugamo skin:

    Ketsueki skin:

EULA: +1 for that line LOL

Thank you for your feedback and comments! I am not sure why uninstalling one skin would uninstall them all, I will have to look into that. As far as the default install directory, maybe since I am using a 64-bit system it installed ad-aware in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware\Resources since it is a 32-bit installer. 32-bit OS's may only have C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware\Resources since it doesn't need a 64-bit install directory. I will have to look into that also.

Again thank you for trying it out and for the great feedback. I hope you use your favorite skin!

Thanks Jermery for all the hard work done.

Just a minor correction, you can use forum URL in EULA as avinashtech.net instead of avinashtech.com. NOt a big deal.

And thanx for sharing your work here for everyone of us.

I installed your skin Jeremy and its great. The only issue I found was already informed to you by ashwin. Everything else is fine. For 32-bit and 64-bit systems, either you have to do separate installers or else put a window and let the user select his system i.e. either 32-bit or 64-bit. Based on the input, the installer will choose the destination... Just my 2 cents!
