Cant scroll, cant type... mouse pointer sticks to start of line..

A typical issue.. not sure how to describe. The mouse pointer moves well.. but I cant scroll any page down.. like gravity it pulling everything upwards.

Also... when i type the pointer sticks to starting point of line which means.. the typed letters are backwards......

The issue gets solved when i hit F5 for few secs on desktop but returns back in few secs or minutes.

Its hardware issue as it happens in both Windows 7 and windows 8.

Right now its working.. dont know why? I can see only one difference that I am running on battery now instead of AC power.

Also, my issue of long beep persists.... something terribly wrong perhaps. Any ideas?

    2. boot in safe mode & check
    3. Uninstall drivers, connect and then allow Windows to install the drivers
