Looks like it received pretty good reviews, nice that it is a free player too.

Big thanks for the heads up, Mike.

    AIMP is sweet.

It's extremely light memory footprint. Only player I know with a search function within a playlist that immediately accessible. And it records audio streams very well.

Does it do all the stuff Media Monkey does? Of course not. It's not meant to. Unless they have added a bunch of stuff to version 3.

Syncing, leveling, library organization, ripping, burning, tagging, playlist creation => I use Media Monkey.

Playing a playlist or recording internet radio, I use AIMP2. I'll have to check out AIMP3.

I only listen to music, use the queue and search functions so AIMP is my favorite player Already installed version 3.
I tried Media Monkey free and there were too many buttons and options...too much for me

Actually I use Spider Player and Foobar, but I also used AIMP. It is a good software, light and with many skins available. Upon installation you can choose whether to opt for normal or portable version.
...soon I will try AIMP v3!

Used AIMP2 since it came out and loved it liked the normalize audio, but had problems with AIMP3 would not store the codecs for some reason, mind you it was the Beta so may try it again as I did like the 2 version a lot, been a while since I have try it so will download it again.
