Did you tried Ubuntu 12 by installing it on your system?

Ubuntu 12 with Long term support was released few days back by Canonical.

Anyone of you downloaded and installed on your system? Do you plan to use it or even test it?

I did downloaded it but I am yet to install it.

If you want, you can download it from Ubuntu Official download page.

I'll try Ubuntu when they port it to Android (a Stable version, not the beta stuff)

When they released unity I tried that version for a while and didn't like it so I'm not planning on testing Ubuntu 12.

And I think it's better to use a live CD/USB before installing it.

Yes, that is always a good idea unless you are on a test machine with no data to backup.
