    Problem with USSD messages

To know more about Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) check -->

In layman's terms its just the message we get once we check the balance through codes (eg *123#). Sometimes we also get these USSD messages after balance recharge.

Now my problem is after I recharged my number, some couple of days earlier, every time I restart my android device I get to see the same balance added USSD message. And the most annoying thing is it popup alteast 8-10 times and I have to click the OK button for 8-10 times to remove it.
This happen on every restarts. Is there any solution to this?

Could be a problem at your service providers end. Try reseating the sim.
Or use it on another device to confirm. Else, we will have to find a fix.

that's strange, but also profitable. You keep using the phone, but still maintain the same balance.

This looks like somewhat a common problem and has got a fix here

But the downside is the fix isn't too flexible. It blocks everything and you cannot even manually check your balance using USSD codes.
