No Adhoc-Wifi Support in Windows 10 as with Windows 8??

I got a specific problem. I used to connect my Laptop to Adhoc WiFi connection when using Windows 7. The adhoc WiFi is set on on another PC running Windows XP with the help of Connectify.

The problem is... Windows XP with connectify only creates Adhoc Wifi connections and there is no way I can upgrade that system to Windows 7. Hence I am stuck with that system with Adhoc WiFi.

Windows 8 dropped Adhoc wifi support i.e it cannot now connect to any adhoc WiFi. Its the case with both Windows 8 and 8.1.

I hoped that Windows 10 might come with support for that, but it didnt.

In Windows 10, it detects the Adhoc WiFi connection, but unable to connect to that.

Anyone of you got any clue on how to fix it?

Well, the problem is not .. how to create a adhoc but the problem is how to CONNECT to adhoc.

I think it is a limitation in Android, and not related to Windows.
